From the Inside the Magic Facebook page:

The Magic Kingdom-alcohol barrier will soon be broken. Be Our Guest will serve beer and wine for dinner. But guests will not be allowed to take them outside the restaurant. Disney says guests asked for these options as part of the experience.

Thoughts?

I know I’m the one who posted this (lol) but I actually don’t have a problem with this at all. If the drinks were allowed out of the restaurant maybe I’d have a bigger problem with it… but idk. I think it goes with the theme. France… wine… I personally don’t want to drink coke with my ratatouille (because apparently that’s on the menu, ayy!!) so I think alcohol is appropriate.

Gotta have something for adults too, ya know? There’s nothing wrong with having a beer or a glass of wine and I think Disney will be quick to cut people off if they’re getting “too drunk” especially in Magic Kingdom.

Nighttime Spectaculars: New ‘Celebrate the Magic’ Images, Expanded Seating for Fantasmic!

When the sun sets here at Disney Parks, it’s time for our nighttime spectaculars. And tonight, we’re sharing a few updates on what’s to come this year at the Walt Disney World Resort, including plans to expand seating forFantasmic! shows at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Beginning in November, “Celebrate the Magic” at Magic Kingdom Park will transform Cinderella Castle with spectacular new projection effects. Disney Parks Blog readers are among the first to see our newest sneak peek images.

When shows begin, “Celebrate the Magic” will feature all-new music, storytelling and special effects. It’ll be a journey to the heart of the most beloved Disney stories and characters, according to show director Katy Harris.

Also, one of my favorite nighttime spectaculars at Disney Parks will be growing. We’re installing an additional 1,000 seats in the Hollywood Hills Ampitheatre for the popular Fantasmic! shows. Fantasmic! is performed nightly and you can view our online calendar for specific dates and times.
